There appear to be a couple of different address for this one, which would suggest that the business may have moved at one time, however, Richmond Road, Grove Road and Cannon Road are all a stones throw apart.

The "Elms" was originally part of the estate of the Tomson family, town brewers, in the 1830s. For many years Elms Park was a resort of the townsfolk, who were allowed to play cricket and other sports there, but the park was sold for development in the 1860s and only the pub and Elms Avenue are left.

I have been informed that this is now a nursery (2015)

Ramsgate.

A dividend will shortly be declared in the bankruptcy proceedings of Edwin Arthur Sprinks, of "Elms Hotel," Cannon Road, Ramsgate, and proofs must be delivered to the trustee, Mr. John H. Foster, The Brewery, Ramsgate, by the 10th April.
