Ash

Only reference found so far is in the Wingham Division Ale Licence list, which shows the "Red House," Ash, to be re-licensed for the sum of 8 shillings in 1740 indicating that the pub was present before 1740.

There was also a "Red Lion" mentioned in the same list, at Ash, and I am assuming this is not the same one as at Each End as a different licensee is mentioned from that establishment.
