The building was originally called the "New Inn."

Unfortunately many changes of name here, also been known as the "Three Legged Toad," "Saxby's," "Rumours," "Pewter Pot," and I believe now "Carbeez." Unfortunately, at present I am not aware of the dates or order of the changes.

Traces from between late 2011 and May 2012, "Carbeez" functioned as a Caribbean Restaurant. As of may 2013 their web site seems to be down and I do not know if the restaurant is Open 2014+.

Looking at the reviews from various sites on the internet, this restaurant was very well liked.

Information received from Michael Mirams tells me that the premises is now a chocolatier and coffee shop December 2014.
