The Silver Compass Sports Bar gets set to open doors at former Slice site in Ramsgate.
Stefano and Charlotte are ready to open The Silver Compass Sports Bar.
It’s another new era for the former Slice premises in Ramsgate’s
Harbour Street as it begins life as The Silver Compass Sports Bar.
The venue, which has been the "Sovereign" (2007-2014), the "Goose"
(2014-2024) and "Slice" (2024-May 2026), has now come under the wing
of businesswoman Charlotte Silver – owner of Silvers Showbar also in
Harbour Street- and partner Stefano Draper – owner of the "Royal Oak
Hotel."
The pair are holding a soft launch this evening (July 15) for the
England match, with more than 100 tables already booked.

The official launch takes place this Saturday (July 19) and it will
be a sports lovers haven with 20 HD screen TVs, pool tables,
augmented reality dartboards, music and – soon to come- a pub
classics menu.
New mum Charlotte, who gave birth to daughter Ronnie in March, will
also be marking 10 years of her Silver Slipper dance school this
August.
The 28-year-old said: “The Silver Compass Sports Bar officially
opens on Saturday, bringing something completely new to the town.
“We’ve created a venue where sports fans can enjoy multiple live
events at the same time.
“The bar features over 20 HD screens, including a huge 98-inch TV.
The TVs run the length of the bar and there will be up to six
different sports channels shown simultaneously, allowing customers
to watch football, rugby, Formula 1, and more at the same time.
“We also have pool tables and interactive AR darts are being
installed.”
As well as the sports there will be live DJs every Friday and
Saturday night and late opening until 2am at the weekends.
Charlotte added: “Our kitchen will also be opening soon, serving pub
classics and light bites. More than anything, our goal is to create
a welcoming venue that brings people together.
“We want The Silver Compass to become a real community hub where
everyone can enjoy live sport in a great atmosphere.”
