Originally known as the "Swan and Harlequin" it changed name several time, being known as a boutique hotel with restaurant and bar called the "Red Sails and Harry's Bar" and open to the public, and in August 2018 reopened as a Madagascan restaurant with hotel, called the "Creek Hotel". In May/June 2020 the new owners took over the premises and changed name again to the "Quay," on the 1st October 2020, the name being given due to it's location being on the junction to Quay Lane.
