Latest news is that they closed early 2019 and the owners Burger Bros are moving to a new venue in Deal's High Street. Wonder why they keep moving? They have already been at the "Clarendon" the "Deal Hoy" and the "Port of Call" in Dover, and I also believe opened a place in "Alberrys" in Canterbury around 2018. August 2019 I am informed that the pub is now owned by the "Clarendon Hotel" again the original hotel bar has been converted into a ground floor disabled bedroom.
