Mentioned in Steve Glover and Michael Rogers book The Old Pubs of Deal and Walmer.

Identified as early as 1804 and possibly depicted as the the constellation and not the agricultural implement for turning the earth, and on this premises the book authors above suggest that it became the "North Star." However, the licensee lists seem to overlap, so I believe they were separate houses but probably quite close to each other.
