APPLICATIONS FOR New Licenses.

Mr. Gibson (Dartford) supported an application made by Mr. Richard Jarvis, of the "Kent Arms" beer-house, Bexley-heath, and Mr. Russell (Dartford) one made by Mrs. Ann Markall, of the "King’s Arms" beer-house. The houses in question are situated close together, and are the freehold properties of their respective tenants, both of whom have carried them on as beer-houses for many years. Application had been made by both persons on previous years. Both were again refused.
