The Kings Arms pub in Bexleyheath reopens after refurbishment.
Bexleyheath pubgoers are now able to drink at an old favourite boozer
again, as The Kings Arms has reopened following a refurbishment.
The 175-year-old pub, which sits on the corner of the Broadway, was
closed for eight weeks before opening its doors to the public once again
on Thursday (May 10).
Showing off its new interior to punters first, the pub plans to relaunch
its food menu in two weeks.
The pub's new owner, Pete Marshall, said he wanted to refurbish the pub
to have a "traditional setting" that appeals to families and workers
alike.
As well as offering beers, spirits and ales, the pub will serve coffee
for people wanting to pop in after a day of shopping in the town centre.
Mr Marshall added: “Located in the heart of Bexleyheath town centre, The
King’s Arms is the perfect place to meet before a meal or a night out
with friends.
"With a Sunday roast, boasting the best seasonal vegetables and meat
every week, The King's Arms will be the heartbeat of the town all day
every day.”
The pub will be open from 11am-11pm on Monday to Thursday, 11am-12am on
Friday and Saturday and 11.30am-10.30pm on Sundays.
While children are welcome at the pub during the day, The Kings Arms is
adults-only after 7pm.
