PUB LIST PUBLIC HOUSES Paul Skelton

Earliest 1504

Flushing

Latest 1635+

(Name to)

6 High Street

Gravesend

I have just started to map out the pubs that exist or existed in Gravesend, but need local knowledge and photographs, old and current if you have any.

As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here.

Thanks for your co-operation. Every email is answered and all information referenced to the supplier.

This page will be updated as soon as further information is found.

The address 6 High Street seems to overlap the dates of other public houses, those being the "Bull" and also the "George" so perhaps either the street was renamed else the names changed.

Milton next Gravesend Burials from the register of St Peter & St Paul.

13 Sep 1628. A stillborne child of a Dutchwoman that was brought to bed at the Flushing.

15 Sep 1642. Ann Stawell servant to John F* at ye Flushinge.

9 Jan 1635/6. Thomas Furrier, Osteler at the Flushin.
