The pub was built in 1934 but was closed and demolished around 2000 and is now housing. The license for this pub was transferred from the other "White Swan" after that was demolished around 1930.

NEW HOUSES IN THE MEDWAY TOWNS.

New houses have been built by Messrs. Style & Winch in the Rochester-Chatham area.

The licence of the "White Swan," formerly in High Street, Chatham and demolished owing to the widening of the road, was transferred to Haig Avenue, Chatham, where considerable development is taking place.
