New Road (High Street? 1872)

I have found reference to this pub in the Wright's Topography of 1838. There is also reference to another pub called the "King's Head" addressed at Brook Street. This may well be the same pub.

The Licensing Records of 1872 gave an address of High Street and stated that the premises operated under a Full License and was owned by Edward Winch of Chatham.
