This was a Berni Inn Steak House opened late summer of 1970 with the area manager being David Mitchell. I do not yet know when this house opened as the "Tudor Tavern," but it closed in 1997 and became a wine bar in January 1998 called "Chalk Blue." This only survived for one month and closed again in February the same year. By April 1999 it had again changed name, this time to "Bar 11."

I am also informed by Alan Spencer that Berni Inns Ltd later became part of The Grand Met group along with Schooner Inns, Chef and Brewer and other such chains.
