Swan location

Above showing the location of the "Swan." Demolished to make way for the High Speed train link.

The  18th century "Swan" was the original name of the "Mucky Duck." The pilots in the Battle of Britain who frequented the pub always used to refer to it as the "Mucky Duck" but it wasn't renamed that officially until a change of brewery, date unknown. Unfortunately the building was demolished when the new A20 and rail link were built. I am informed that the location would have been between the two bridges.

Further local knowledge would be appreciated.
