I looked at your web site today after talking to my Aunt (who lives in Gillingham) and she reminded me that I had painted the signs for this pub - and there they were!

I was commissioned by a sign writer soon after graduating from Canterbury college of art to do the paintings (as he could only do the writing). Unfortunately he went bankrupt and I didn't get paid for the work. They were all completed in April 1989, I've attached two more images - in the riot scene, (back and left of centre) there is a self portrait wielding a paint brush.
