Found mention twice, so far both in a copy of the Kentish Post or Canterbury News, 1748 and 1751.

I'm afraid I do not know where this was, but will assume it to be somewhere very near to water due to what it was advertised as welling in 1748.

Further research has turned up that it was "Over the Sluice" so that puts it in the region of what is now called Snargate Street.

Kentish Post or Canterbury News, March 4 to 8, 1748. Kindly sent from Alec Hasenson.

From the Kentish Post or Canterbury News-Letter, April 3 to 6, 1751.

Advert for a Cock Match at Mr. Richard Bennet's, at the Port's Arms in Dover.

From the Kentish Post, November 12-15, 1760. Kindly sent from Alec Hasenson.
