I believe this only had this name for a couple of years and either side of this it would have been known as the "Queen's Head" so obviously didn't do that well under this name.

 

Folkestone Express 26 August 1871.

Saturday, August 19th: Before J. Clarke, J. Gambrill and J. Tolputt Esqs.

Daniel Hall, of the Oxford Arms (sic), was charged with leaving a cart on the highway on the 14th inst., and convicted in 2s. 6d. fine and costs.

Note: According to information in More Bastions this house was renamed back to "Queen's Head" at Hall's arrival
