Bagshaw Directory 1847 mentions the above public house, near Selsted but situated at "Minnis." I am not quite sure exactly where this is at present, but there are no obvious public houses in the area with that same name. The licensee being another of the Tritton family, possibly connected to the brewer of Staple.
