The information I have received here is from Kathleen Hollingsbee who gained her information from a bill head dated circa 1800.

Further information points to the premises now called the "High and Dry" and so would have been the "Royal George" before it changed name.

The Kentish Gazette reports that they held a fete their in the 23 August paper of 1808.
