The Wingham Petty Sessions, reported on 15 March 1935 in the Dover Express that: "At the adjourned Annual Licensing Sessions the licence was transferred of the Green Man, Adisham, from Mr. W. C. White to Mr. M. C. Oates. Apart from this mention, I have no further information as yet.
