The "Fusion" bar didn't stay open for long. It was only open from Autumn 2005 till early 2008 when it closed and the premises reverted back into being run as the House of Agnes Hotel. During the time it was opened a large beer garden was also opened up to the public in May 2006.

Previous to the "Fusion" bar being open to the public, it was called the "Dicken's Inn."

Canterbury also had another "Fusion" bar, but this one was in best Lane and only operated for a few months in the year 2000.
