Bromley Common

Two pubs shown here in 1905

Another one from Rory Kehoe, who says two for the price of one.

Again Michael Mirams to the rescue, although only half way this time. He says the pub on the left is the "Plough" at Bromley Common, but doesn't know the name of the one on the right, so the case is still open.

Martin Barnes, I believe has finally solved this one, and says the following:- "You are chasing a pub that didn't exist. Looking at your photo we have the Plough PH on the left and its sign on a post across the road. What looks like another pub on the right hand side of the road is in fact the General Post Office and shops on the corner of Jackson road, the 4 buildings still stand as shops."
