The photograph was taken by someone in my father’s family, Rose (mother’s maiden name Shelvey, and her mother Swineherd) who were bakers in Walmer and Deal at the early part of the 1900’s. They always lived in and around Folkestone, Dover, River, Walmer and Deal so I’ve lots of photographs of them in different local areas.

Thank to Steve Glover I think this one has been solved. It's the "Rose and Crown" in East Peckham. Michael Mirams also pointed this out to me as well and says when he went there in 1983 it definitely had a roof then.
