Another one from Rory Kehoe, who says the following:-

An undated photograph but one which is likely to have been taken not long after Whitbread's acquired Mackeson's Hythe Brewery. Whether this was an offie owned by Mackeson's, or a privately-owned business, isn't known, as there is currently no definitive list of the off licences tied to the Hythe Brewery, or Jude Hanbury's Canterbury Brewery. Jude Hanbury was the corporate vehicle, clandestinely used by Whitbread's to acquire Mackeson's, without the vendor (H & G Simonds' Reading Brewery) realising who the actual buyer was.
