Another painting of what looks like a public house. Unfortunately the sign doesn't give any clues. The painting is by Henry John Boddington (1811-65) and is titled "A Lane in Knockholt," Kent" and is dated 1841. Michael Mirams suggests it could be the "Crown" but it looks more like the "White Hart" at nearby Brasted to me.
