Green Street?

Queen Street perhaps.

I will add that I haven't heard of a Green Street in Dover before now, but the Kentish Gazette of 1769 was quite specific that it was in Dover. I believe this to be a misprint and really be Queen Street. There was a "Dover Castle Hotel" which this may actually be one and the same. The above mentioned I have seen with various addresses as well, including 6 Clarence Place, Union Street, Quay, Steam Packet Quay and North Pier Head. The original Hotel itself was removed in 1844 when the tidal harbour was removed, so the street names would have been lost at that time and I haven't seen any records of a Green Street yet, but that doesn't mean to say it never existed or that it indeed wasn't one and the same "Dover Castle Hotel", but until I get further information on the street name, I am going to assume it to be a different establishment.

Just to confuse matters further, there was also a "Dover Castle Tap", but this was definitely a different building to the "Dover Castle Hotel" again, none of the address tally with this one.

Seems it was up for sale in 1757.
