Crazy Horse The Crazy Horse concepts

by Paul Skelton

If you want to go on a journey through music, and I mean a journey through space, location and time using the medium of sound, you need to buckle yourself in for almost an hour with Crazy Horse Paul Skelton as your guide. All tracks played are connected to each other with the relevant links guided by yours truly, the music being a complete mix of the most thought provoking that you'll hear on the radio. It really is a trip through your imagination. What you'll get isn't a random play of tunes, but a succession that will tell a story and take you on a journey from start to end. Inspired mainly by the best progressive music around, but as diverse as to include folk, country, popular, even classical, buskers and comedy at times in fact no genre of music unconsidered, even spoken word if appropriate and adds to the journey. If I can find an alternative to the originals I will, as well. But how many are really ready to accompany me on this trip?"

If you like concept albums such as Jeff Wayne's "War of the Worlds," The Who's "Tommy" or indeed Rick Wakeman's "Journey to the Centre of the Earth," listen in. If you dare.

To start broadcasts on Monday 21st March 2022 at 19.00 to 20.00, repeated on the following Wednesday between 19.00 and 20.00, then again Thursday at Midnight to 1 in the morning, and lastly on Saturday between 2 and 3 in the morning. Crazy, isn't it?

If it's of interest, I have absolutely no previous experience of radio presenting, have never been a DJ at someone's party and don't tend to try and copy the professional DJ's you hear on the radio. I think you'll find my style unique, if nothing else.
