![]() LEE EDGINGTON. Born in Buckland Hospital in 1961. Lived in Dover all my life. Mobile DJ from 1976-2000, when A. I stopped liking the music I was being asked to play. B. Age (i.e. setting up/dismantling lights & lugging heavy boxes of records/cd’s/Amps & speakers around) got the better of me! I Broadcast on radio with White Cliffs Radio & Coastline FM. My show was the local band show & were using cassettes at the start. The local News Hound was none other than Dominic King (now Radio Kent) & I introduced him to Minidisc - those were the days. I grew up as a Punk Rocker & loved Reggae music. In the mid 80’s, I formed a Skiffle Band called The Ranting Skifflers & am currently a member of Ska band called Intensified. I play local league Table-Tennis & at age 40 became Kent & England ranked as a veteran. Back into Vinyl DJing, but only venues with own PA/Lighting etc. Currently got a show on DCR called “Well Now Dig This” on Sunday nights 7-9pm (Repeated on Tuesday’s 6-8pm), in which I feature Ska, Rock Steady, Reggae, Rockabilly, Rock & Roll, Doo-Wop, Jump R’n’B, Blues, Mod, 60’s Garage, Soul, Northern Soul, Funk etc. Tune In (using the "Listen Live" tag top left) & Enjoy!
