There was no issue 18 due to Paul (Topsy) Turvey letting everyone down and not saying he was having problems committing himself time-wise and so when it came to publishing the issue nothing had been done, he was too proud to admit defeat and it was now too late, but just put his head in the sand and ignored all offers to help.

I will add on a personal note that this wasn't the first time Paul Turvey had taken on the editing of newsletters or magazines and hadn't delivered the goods. He did he same with the CAPerS magazine, (Corresponding Animal and Pet Society).
