This is another new one to me and only found to date in an edition of the Kentish Gazette or Canterbury Chronicles of 1768, as seen below.

TO THE PUBLIC

John Atherden, Carrier, at the “Carpenter's Arms,” in St. James's Street, Dover, intends to let out with a general Caravan and Four Horses, from Dover to Margate, every Thursday, by the Way of Deal, Sandwich, and Ramsgate; and return every Friday the same Road. Likewise lets out every Monday to Ashford, by the Way of Canterbury, Chilham, Godmersham, and Wye, and takes in Goods and Passengers at reasonable Rates. He also takes Goods and Passengers in at the above mentioned Places for Folkestone, Hythe, Dymchurch, New Romney, Lydd, and Rye.

Those Gentlemen, Ladies, and others, who please to favour him with their Custom, may depend on his Punctuality and Care in all Orders, and the Favour gratefully acknowledged by their most humble servant.
