3 Beach Street

Originally called the "Hotel-de-Brussels" it seems this pub changed name to a more Foreign sounding "Bruxelles Inn" in about 1854, but some time after that date it changed again to the "Brussels Inn". I can only assume that either the spelling was more convenient to resort to the more familiar Brussels spelling, or that the spelling of Bruxelles was a mistake in the first place.
