From the Maidstone Journal, 13 March 1798.

Sales by Auction. By John Williams.

On Monday the 19th day of this instant March, at the house of John Lindredge, known by the name of the "White Lion," at Marden, in the County of Kent, between the hours of two and four o'clock in the afternoon (unless previously disposed of by Private Contract of which notice will be given.)

All those two Messauges or Tenements, now in three dwellings, with large gardens there unto belonging, situate lying and being near the Town of Marden aforesaid, and now in the several occupations of John Hickmott, Thomas Collens, and ------ Allard.

For further particulars enquire of the Auctioneer, or at the office of James Selby, Attorney, Town Malling.
