From the Maidstone Journal, 27 February, 1787. (Deptford)

On Sunday was committed to the above gaol, by J. Russell, Esq., Robert Golding, on the oath of Maria Butler, with stealing on the 20th instant, at the sign of the "Welsh Harp," in the parish of St. Paul's Deptford, a cloak and a handkerchief, value 5s. the property of the said Maria Butler.

Also on the same day by the above Justice, Catherine Galaspee, on suspicion of stealing in the night of the 22nd instant, from the premises of Thomas Rawsterne, in the parish of St. Paul's, Deptford, a small quantity of bricks, the property of the said Thomas Rawsterne.
