To be peremptorily sold by auction, by John Leith.
On Thursday, the 30th day of April, 1789, at the sign of the "Tiger Cat," at
Sheerness, between the hours of six and eight o'clock in the evening. All that
substantial leasehold house and ground, 20 feet in front, and 50 feet back,
comprising an exceedingly good old accustomed Grocer's Shop, Parlor, Kitchen two
Cellars, 2 bed Chambers, two Garret's, and a good tallow Chandler's workshop.
The Premises in good Repair, and our most delightfully situated for Trade, in
the center part of the Blue Houses, at Sheerness, in the Isle of Sheppey,
commanding a most delightful Prospect of the rivers Thames and Medway.
Lots held under Lease from Messrs. Hart and Hosier, for a term of 99 years, 69
of which were unexpired at Michaelmas day last, at the low Ground Rent of 10s.
per Annum; and the whole together is now in the Tenure and Occupation of Mr.
Osbert Pigg, who is an undeniable Tenant, as the very low rent of £24 10s. per
annum.
The Premises may be viewed by applying to John Leith, any time after 11 o'clock
the day of sale, and the Lease may be seen on the Premises.
