From the Maidstone Journal, 11 July 1797.

James Andrews, (late Maidstone Coachman,) at the "Kings Arms," opposite the "Bricklayers Arms," Kent Road, most respectfully acquaintances friends and the public in general, that he has taken the said commodious house, and laid in a choice stock of Foreign Wines, Brandy, Rum, Cordials, Compounds, &c. and assures those that may favour him with their presence, that no exertion on his part shall be wanting to render the best accommodation, and merits their encouragement and support.

A Good Larder; and Dinners, &c, dressed on the shortest notice.

N.B. The Maidstone Coaches still call going and coming.

Excellent Beds and good stabling.
