According to Luke Anthony Briscoe and published on "Time Travellers Guide to the Borough of Lewisham / The Sunday Time Travel." Said to have been built around 1743 and originally known as a "Hedge Tavern" or "Olde Tavern" and in earlier days the owners also started a bicycle business as a sideline. Eventually ended up being called "Ye Two Brewers" date of change as yet unknown.
