Petty Sessions, Saturday. (Before J. B. Wildman, Esq., chairman, the Revs. N. R. Toke and J. Dufton, W. Burra, E. Saver, and — Walker, Esqrs., and Dr. Carttar).

John Page, keeper of the "Woodman’s Arms" beer-shop, near Chilham, was summoned for allowing tippling in his house some time since, and also for allowing beer to be consumed on his premises at an unlawful hour.

Fined 40s. for the first offence, and for the second his license was suspended for two years.
