This premises changed name to the "Royal Norfolk Hotel" around about 1864.

At present, the list below contains licensees from both the "Ship Hotel" and the "Ship Inn," and I hope to one day be able to separate them correctly.

The license of the Ship, at Sandgate, was transferred from Caroline Lucas to James Winch.
