Nothing known of this at present apart from a reference in the Census of 1911 and the Medway Kelly's Directory of 1911-12. The house was described as a beer house.

Transfer of licence.

At the Sittingbourne Petty Sessions, on Monday, the off-licence of the "Rosebud" beer house, Ivy Street, Rainham, held by the late Walter Edward Jones, was temporarily transferred to the widow, Mrs. Kate Jones, on the applications of sergeants Gilbert, care of son-in-law, when said Mrs. Jones had recently broken her leg and was unable to attend, and for the present he was looking after the business for her.
