Above postcard, circa 1900, kindly sent by Tel Terry.

Above postcard circa 1906, kindly sent by Rory Kehoe. It looks as though the licensee's name, as it appears on the pub's swing sign, is J C Kindler. Not much else is known about the pub as it doesn't (currently) appear on any of the lists of pubs, which were owned by local breweries in the period prior to WW1.

Not a lot known about this at present, apart from it was situated along the A28 Ashford Road, and is now (2022) known as Dragon House.

The building gained a Grade II listing on 9 August 1979.
