Michael Mirams tells me the following:- This tiny Sheps off-licence was nearly a pub in the 1990s – the brewery made several applications for conversion, but were turned down flat every time – mainly due to resident’s opposition. Wonder if it would succeed as a micropub now – especially as the "Yard Of Ale" is nearly directly opposite. The former off-licence is now a private residence.
