Originally known as the "Papermaker's Arms" this changed to the "Mottley Hall" in 1977. This change to the "Hop in Ear" around about 1995 but not sure for how long, as it reverted back to the "Papermaker's Arms" again afterwards to finally close in 2008 under that final and original name.
