This was one time an Inn the building dating back to 1610 but with additions and renovation during the 19th century.

The building was officially registered as as in in 1705 and had significant alterations made in 1790 when the original thatched roof was replaced with tiles. Further renovations and additions were made in the 19th century and the building gained a Grade 2 listing on 10 September 1954. It is now (2026) called Star House including Boutique.
