Situated just down from the "Star" pub in the area known locally as "Birds Nest Hollow", the "Plum Tree" which is classed as a micro-pub is housed in what was previously operating as a converted shop dedicated to roofing supplies, and opened on Friday 19th July 2019.

Today, (2020) it is housed between an off-licence on one side and a funeral parlour on the other.

This premises was also able to operate for take-away services during the Covid 19 pandemic of 2020 on Friday's and Sundays.

The premises was awarded the local CAMRA branch pub of the year in 2023, but unfortunately closed 4th January 2025 and change of use permission granted for a Beauty Salon.
