I am assuming this one held a drinks license, else can't really see the Licensed Victuallers holding meeting there. Unfortunately at present little is know regarding this one at present, not even a definite address, and just found in the 1881 account below.

Sevenoaks Chronicle and Kentish Advertiser, Friday 30 September 1881.

Bromley. The Licensed Victuallers.

The quarterly meeting of the Licensed Victuallers at Bromley was held at the "Tree Hotel," Orpington, Mr. Littlecott presiding. The Secretary read the letter he had sent, in accordance with instructions received at the last meeting, to the members for West Kent, asking them to vote against Sir W. Lawson's Bill. A vote of thanks was tendered to Sir Charles Mills and Vicecount Lewisham for the action they had taken in reference to the measure. Mr. Harris urged the importance of the trade taking more active interest in matters affecting interests, and the secretary was empowered to call a meeting of the committee for making arrangements for holding public meetings for the discussion of trade matters. The Chairman proposed that a vote of condolence be sent to Mrs. Garfield, expressing sympathy at the loss of her husband, and it was unanimously agreed to.
