Paul Narrowmore says this was initially a two storey building, there was a serious fire and it lost it’s roof and upper storey, at present date unknown. It was a single storey for many years before fairly recently the upper storey was replaced.

Crews called to tackle woodland fire in Seven Mile Lane, Mereworth, Malling.

Three engines have been called to a woodland fire in Malling.

Crews were called at 9.26am following reports of the outdoor fire near Seven Mile Lane, Mereworth.

The site is near the busy Moody Mare Pub.

They've been tackling the fire which is over around 150 square metres of undergrowth.
