Lower High Street Whitstable
I have been told that the Canterbury City Council Appraisal of Whitstable gives information that in 1698 a brick house was built in Lower High Street. It later became the "Ship" and renamed the "Hoy Inn" in 1790. Whether this is the same as the "Hoy Endeavour" is as yet unknown. This is all the information I have of this establishment at present.
