The Closed Pubs project suggests that this operated from between 1909 and 1912 with the name of "Doddrell's Wine Lodge," and either side of that it would have been called the "Kent." perhaps it was always the "Kent" and just one bar operated inside under the supervision of Doddrell and just served wine. Although I have not seen the name Doddrell in any of the licensee lists as yet.
