This one was set up for a seasonal event inside the Old Marine Station building. I believe it operated throughout the Christmas period only of 2017.

Bo-Ho-Ho! - Merry White Cliffs Christmas.

Nothing warms you up quicker than a festive mulled wine or spiced cider, and this year both will be available at the new White Cliffs Christmas bar, the Bo-Ho-Ho inside Cruise Terminal One.

The invention of the owners of the popular, quirky and stylish ‘The Bohemian’ bar and restaurant in Deal, the Bo-Ho-Ho is modelled on the Deal bar with seating both inside and out and boasting a full drinks menu of beers, wines, spirits and a choice of soft drinks. The Bo-Ho-Ho caters for all and doors will be open 10am to 9pm for the Grand Opening Event on November 25.

Following this, the Bo-Ho-Ho opening hours will be Thursdays and Fridays 4pm to 8pm, Saturdays 10am to 9pm and Sundays 10am to 6pm. There are extended hours over the festive period from December 21.

Lots of fabulously festive Christmas gifts and treats from local producers will also be available in the Christmas market. For food and drink luxuries, visit stalls from: Wise Owl Cider, Dover Castle, Honey Cake Bakers and Top Drinks. Or for gifts and crafts there are stalls from E and D Shabby Chic, Tiger Feet keepsakes, Student Makers, Phoenix Trading greeting cards, Intricutz Crafts personalised gifts, Kim’s Emporium, Marie McKay Health & Wellbeing, Daisy Moon
Florist, Peter Kesby Photography, Glitter Gems glitter tattoos, Marion Rose jewellery, Pranee Millard hats, gloves and scarves, Funky Hen Christmas decorations or Jane Stevenson gift bags and hampers.

Scrumptious foods will be on offer from Riverside Catering’s fabulous affordable food and The Street Pantry, serving homemade goodies from Ettie, their 1957 Citroen H van.

For those with a sweet tooth, step back in time at Wonderland, the Victorian style sweet shop or visit The Candy people for candy floss and Dinky Donuts for hot-from-the-fryer delights. Hits the Spot offers savoury and sweet pancakes but if you want something more substantial there’s Philly Cheese Steaks and Burgers at The Larder Catering Services or stone baked pizzas at Stoned Pizza.

Kentish Pip Cider with their 1940's vintage caravan mobile bar will be serving Skylark, winner of Kent Cider or Perry of the Year at the Taste of Kent Awards 2017. To help keep the chill at bay, try Firespice (mulled cider) or a Turkish spiced apple tea (non alcoholic). For those after a refreshing non alcoholic drink, home grown and pressed apple juice will also be available.

The bigger and better indoor real ice rink, fairground rides, Father Christmas and musical entertainment will all add to the festivities for truly seasonal fun. The White Cliffs Christmas 2017 opens at 10am Saturday, November 25 until Monday, January 1, 2018.

This years’ event has been generously sponsored by Natwest, MOTO Hospitality Services, VolkerStevin Boskalis Westminster, DDS Demolition, N.T. Rix Scaffolding, E.J. Ditton & Co Ltd, City Electrical Factors, WWMartin, Dover Transport Museum, TW Services and Megger Limited.
