BROMLEY- MID KENT. PETTY SESSIONS.
John Smith, of the "Red Lion," Chislehurst, was on Monday fined £1 and
costs for having his house open for the sale of beer on Sunday, the
19th, during prohibited hours.

The defendant who is at present the landlord of the "Red Lion Inn," at
Chislehurst was charged with having on Sunday, the 19th ult., opened his house
for the sale of beer, before the hour of one p.m.
The case was admitted by the defendant who was fined in £1 and costs.

Disorderly Conduct and Assault.
J. W. Duncombe, landlord of the "Red Lion," Chislehurst, was charged
by P.C. Errall with disorderly conduct and assaulting him while in
the execution of his duty, on the 2nd instant. The case was proved
by Errall, a man named Weatherley, and Serjeant Dilke, and defendant
was fined £1 and costs.
